When oil producing Abu Dhabi can see the writing on the wall, and begins work on sustainable technologies, it's time for the UK government to wake up too. Abu Dhabi's green campus housing an energy and technology community covers six square kilometres and will be up and running by 2009. (Thanks Ecogeek for the news item.)
